Under the action of internal pressure on the main body of the conical head cone, the maximum film stress occurs at the big end. At the connection between the cone and the cylinder, due to the geometric discontinuity and the sudden change of the radius of curvature, a large lateral thrust will be generated there, resulting in large edge stress and easy bending, so it needs to be strengthened. For the big end, the axial bending stress is the main control factor, and it is a secondary stress, so the stress intensity is controlled; for the small end, the stress conditions at the connection between the small end and the cylinder are mainly the average circumferential tensile stress and the average circumferential tensile stress. The radial compressive stress is a local film stress, so the stress intensity can be controlled within, but since the local film stress here may exceed the distribution range of the edge effect, for the sake of safety, the stress intensity is controlled within. For the big end, the thickness of the reinforcing section shall not be less than the thickness of the connected conical shell under any circumstances, the length of the reinforcing section shall not be less than that, and the length of the cylindrical reinforcing section shall not be less than that. For the small end, the thickness of the reinforcing section shall not be less than the thickness of the connected conical shell under any circumstances, the length of the reinforcing section of the conical shell shall not be less than that of the conical shell, and the length of the cylindrical reinforcing section shall not be less than that.
